If you liked Midsommar I would recommend checking out the movie The Ritual on Netflix. It is about four friends hiking in the woods in Sweeden and coming across some weird stuff. I meant to talk about this movie during the episode, but forgot about it until after we finished recording.

This week Patrick and Jeff hop into a phone booth and swing by the Circle K in LA and pick Zak and Dustin from Two Dollar Late Fee podcast, and go back to the 80’s to talk about Bill and Ted Face The Music. Patrick talks about the tragedy that is The Tax Collector. Then Jeff and Patrick both talk about the Spike Lee produced time traveling movie See You Yesterday. It is not for kids.

Jeff then talks about the fun for kids Disney+ movie, Magic Camp. Jeff also talks about the amazing dark comedy “heist” movie, Lucky Grandma. Jeff then talks to the director, Sasie Sealy, about the indie hit and the awesome acting by the lead, Tsai Chin. Check it out and if you like it suggest it to a friend or family member.

The Sleepover with director Trish Sie

This week we welcome back our returning guest, Trish Sie, to talk about her latest movie, The Sleepover available now on Netflix. This movie is the perfect family movie. It is fun, funny has some great acting by a young cast. If you enjoyed 80’s movies with kids as the lead cast like Adventures in Babysitting, Goonies, Ruskies, and B.R.A.T. Patrol then you will really enjoy this film.

School is back for our kids here in Nashville. Patrick’s daughter will start this week, and Jeff’s two kids are now back in school. That does not stop the podcast.
